Y seat on A388

Hi all,

Will be taking the A380 for the first time in a few weeks, just wondering whether the PC Power and USB ports are actually activated on the Y-seat unlike the internet which was meant to be available?

Cheers!

in-seat power is available in the economy cabin, just not every seat.

Cheers for that. Looking forward to the experience.

I assume that "not in every seat" means that the power points are shared between 2s or 3s?

yes, Its available in every row. but if three or 4 people in a block of seats all want it, its time to start the "buddy system" of sharing.

This link has an image with black dots where the power points are:

For more, have a look at the AFF post:

Also, Exit rows and bulk heads do have in seat power. To find the plug, the TV monitor must be out.

QF12 Load

I am getting ready to take my first A380 ride on QF12 LAX to SYD. What are the best days to travel out from LAX to try to get a low load flight ?

Being a big guy, I'd rather not travel on a full flight.

Thx! Can't wait to get on that plane, I watch it nearly everyday when it flies over my place in the morning into LAX.
