Question 8 Course tasting menu in QF F Class
Is the 8 course tasting menu available on QF9 SIN/LHR? . Website says only on selected flights but then does not list which flights.

All the long-haul routes that are flagship. Which happen to be the only ones that still have F these days I think all F routes now have the degustation menu. But it is abbreviated on the supper service (SYD-LAX has the full menu while LAX-SYD is shorter).

AFAIK it is only offered on the MEL-SIN leg, not the SIN-LHR leg.

Spoke to QF reservations and they said that wef from 1 March it is offered on SIN/LHR.

So hope they are right.

Pretty sure QF don't offer it on the JNB flights but that may have changed.

I did however try it on QF1 to BKK last December and it was a fantastic experience. Just make sure you don't indulge too much inside the lounges as there are matching wines for each course. The entire meal also takes about 3 hours to get through. Enjoy

I can 100% assure you that they are not correct

The 8 course tasting menu is only offered in First on departing flights from Sydney and Melbourne



I haven't been to Johannesburg for a long time so will have to look into that and see if it is offered - it should be though when First is available.

Oooh, interesting. I never knew about this.

I hope it'll be available on QF127 (SYD-HKG) come late May this year! Of course, only the girlfriend will be enjoying it as I'll be stuck slumming it in J.
