AM/AZ/KL/UX - FCO-MEX - 1275 EUR / $1379 r/t - Business

Aeromexico Fare (partially operated by ITA, KLM, or Air Europa) - For the last few days flights could be booked the first week of April (Week of April 8) from Rome, Italy (FCO) to Mexico City, Mexico (MEX) for 1275 EUR or $1379 roundtrip in business.

Ticket must be issued by April 15. Depart Monday through Thursday. The fare should technically work March 20 to May 9, 2024, but has additional restrictions later in the fare rules limiting it to April 9 to April 15, 2024. A stopover is $75 USD.

The absolute cheapest routing has an overnight connection in Madrid (MAD) on the outbound flight, but you can avoid that overnight connection and connect in Amsterdam (AMS) for an extra $6 USD, which is probably smarter!

Thanks! Yes, I was going to mention that a similar fare was filed from Bologna (BLQ) this morning, but forgot. It's also $200 more expensive, but it routes through Rome instead of AMS or MAD.

BLQ-MEX - $1552 roundtrip

the premier cabin mex-fco use the old 2-2-2 . really bad if you have window seat.
While from AMS i think they always use the newest, really much better 1-2-1

I did buy in may a oneway NAP-MEX business (stop in AMS) , paid approx 950 euro with the flexi options on booking. it was around 700 euro without the flex refundable option
in that week, from FCO to MEX it was almost the same price but with economy AM plus
so i did buy the business from NAP which was at that price exactly on the date i wanted to fly (saturday) and will earn much more MQD and miles compared to flying AM plus

I have flown in the window seat of the 787-8. It's not that bad and surely beats an economy seat!

I have flown the 787-800 multiple times. The seat is comfortable. The only downside I see is when you want a window seat and are travelling alone. you could get a seat neighbour and have to climb over his feet during nighttime.

The best recommendation I could make for those debating this would be to select a window seat on the left side of the cabin in AM's 787-8. Since all the J cabin seats are slanted rightwards, the best legroom & space generally is among seats on the left side.

I learned the hard way on my first AM 787-8 & have course-corrected ever since.

That & making sure to use the toilet before your aisle seat buddy goes to sleep (if traveling solo obv).

hello!!
i did buy a BLQ-MEX business to fly in december oneway
If you search it in google flights,it is priced more than 1.000 euro
if you search it in expedia , also it is priced around 1300 euro the premiere one, and approx 1500 the premier one FLEX refundable
But when you click to continue the buying process, the prices goes down to around 720 non flex, 1020 flex
So i did buy the flex because from now to december lot of things can change
BUT in the expedia mail, now i see it's not refundable
I put the reservation code in KLM (it's BLQ-AMS-MEX) and clicked on the fare condition it says
no modify , no refund.
then, click on the details
i read
FOR ILXB097V TYPE FARES RESERVATIONS FOR ALL SECTORS ARE REQUIRED AT LEAST 3 DAYS BEFORE DEPARTURE. WAITLIST NOT PERMITTED. TICKETING MUST BE COMPLETED WITHIN 72 HOURS AFTER RESERVATIONS ARE MADE OR AT LEAST 3 DAYS BEFORE DEPARTURE WHICHEVER IS EARLIER. NOTE - GROUP RESERVATIONS ARE NOT PERMITTED.PENALTIESFOR ILXB097V TYPE FARES ANY TIME NOTE - - TICKET IS NON-REFUNDABLE IN CASE OF NO-SHOW - OTHERWISE - CANCELLATIONS ANY TIME CANCELLATIONS PERMITTED. NOTE - REFUND FOR INFORMATION ON TICKET REFUND PROCEDURES SEE AEROMEXICO/S FLEXIBILITY POLICY . REFUNDS ALLOWED TO ORIGINAL FORM OF PAYMENT. FOR TICKETS SOLD VIA AGENCIES REFUNDS ARE ONLY ALLOWED VIA BSP LINK. CHANGES ANY TIME CHANGES PERMITTED.VOLUNTARY CHANGESVOLUNTARY CHANGES CONDITIONS MAY APPLY FOR AUTOMATED REISSUE/REVALIDATION REFER TO PENALTIES CATEGORY *PE FOR DETAILS

so now i'm a bit confused. is it refundable or not?
in the aeromexico my trips , it appears as PREMIERE ONE (no premiere one flex)
in PNR it says
for the first flight KL/KL PREMIERPP_FARE_PREMIER_CABIN
the second flight AM/AM PREMIER_FARE_PREMIER_CABIN

any idea? thanks!!
