AA - LAX-GYE - $861+ r/t - Business - 440 TP
American Airlines - Los Angeles (LAX) - Guayaquil (GYE) - high $800's - low $900's starting in November 2023 through February 2024. This will earn 440 Tier Points if you connect at CLT and MIA. Unfortunately, the connections at CLT are long and usually overnight for the cheapest fares. Ticket must be issued by May 24, 2023.
The lowest fares are $861 and you can find roundtrips at that price with a 1 night stay departing on -
January 22, 23, 24, 28, 29 - $861
February 5
A few people were worried about CBP thinking tier point runs to Colombia might be suspicious to CBP, so here's another option, although the price is a little higher than the tier point runs to Colombia. This will earn 440 Tier Points at $861, which is a cost of $1.9568 per Tier Point (1.56 GBP).

Lowest only avail next Jan/Feb, 2d+. For the AS elites interested, this is a decent mile run. Assuming it's in D/I/R, 14.091 EQM & RDM over $861, which yields 16.38 miles/$, superb ratio for "business" class. Only a shame it isn't true lie-flat.

Yes! I have thought that was unfortunate several times! If only BA would attach GYE to the back of a plane and pull it a few miles further south, similar to how they pulled Dublin further east away from Boston! PHX is barely under 2k miles from MIA too.
