EY CAI-JNB J 883 Return

Heading to Zambia next year and need to pass through Jo'burg and found this fare. I'm not sure if this is typical or not, but it looks like a decent fare to me and I do like the Etihad product.

Seems widely available and bookable direct on Etihad's website. Can be found slightly cheaper through OTA's but only 20-30 less. A321 on the regional hop and B787 on the leg down to Jo'burg.

Coming from the UK the toss up is between this and a Swiss flight out of Oslo for around 1,250 but as my wife hasn't been to Egypt I think this would be the preferred option.

Good fare, but for me I would go Qatar as it is suites to JNB and flat bed to DOH in 'First' which get you into the Qatar first lounge due to arrival/departure bucket. I realise its 300 more but for me the tier points and Krug at DOH makes it worth it!
Depends on your alliance allegiance

You'll be fortunate to find Krug in DOH, Al Safwa Lounge these days

MS778 was mostly rostered on the 787 (which comes with the lie-flat Collins Super Diamond seat) on the Northern Winter schedule. If someone is doing this during NW schedule time they might be able to pull this off.
