AA/JL/CX - BZE-HKG - 1469+ r/t - Premium Economy

This is not the most useful fare due to its starting location and limited availability, but it might help somebody. For the next week you can depart Belize City (BZE) for Hong Kong (HKG) on American connecting to a combination of flights operated by JAL and Cathay Pacific in Premium Economy starting at $1469. This won't be particularly useful to somebody seeking AA status since they award loyalty points based on ticket price for their own tickets, but might help somebody that still credits to a partner that awards based on mileage like Alaska. The cost per mile flown is about 7 cents on a fairly direct routing.

These tickets are booked through American and the absolute cheapest itineraries can be found departing today through May 10. American allows some pretty long and odd routings (you can fly all the way to JFK or BOS before crossing the Pacific), just start searching AA.com.

Works from San Jose, Costa Rica (SJO) too for a slightly higher cost per mile since SJO is further north and closer to the US.

Thanks! I should have looked at a map before posting that. I always mess up the order of Belize, Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Nicaragua, and Costa Rica. I seem to only be able to remember Panama is the last country before getting to Colombia and the rest of South America.
