Before going into the deal I'm going to preface that this is mostly aimed at those that are loyal to United Airlines or the Star Alliance. If you are looking for the best deal from LAX to Quito, Ecuador, head over to Aeromexico's website and start searching! They will beat any fare posted here most days of the week.

On to the deal... At the moment you can fly United in business/first to Quito, Ecuador (UIO) from LAX for under $1,200 on a few select dates. The following departure dates have been discounted -
Apr 17 - $1017
Apr 18 - $1001
Apr 25 - $982
Apr 26 - $966
Apr 30 - $962
May 1 - $1138
May 16 - $1087

EDIT - Also works on a few dates to SJC. See bottom of post.

For all of these dates you have never been able to fly United to Quito for less than the current fare (and on Apr 30 it's the lowest fare ever across any airline). Unfortunately, most of the year it still costs $1510+ to fly United to Quito from LAX.

Caveat - AM left 1000’s stranded and refused refunds, lied to passengers during covid lockdown. Might be okay if things are perfect but they still suck.
