BA/AA: BCN-SFO €1680 roundtrip in J
Not as good as the PRG-HNL deal, but instant BAEC Silver in one trip (640 TP). More options available, also OJ and other airlines (IB, AS). Bookable via GF and AA site or BA phone (for a little bit more). I am sure someone can get more out of it! Happy trips!

Should be possilbe to do AGP-HEL-JFK-SFO but I cant find any "I" class availability until EOS on AGP-HEL. Then it would be 840 TPs. Best I could do was AGP-LHR-HEL-JFK-SFO-JFK-HEL-AGP for 740 TPs. (and I am sorry I alreday closed the example to post it, but I am sure one can easily find it with multi city search on GF.)

If you're chasing TPs you should head over the the TP Run thread in the BA forum.
The reason you are having trouble is there isn't a late night JFK-SFO flight after the HEL-JFK leg, so it needs to be the next day.

The € & $ are almost equal and vary slightly when they’re not. So why is it always 3-4x more expensive to fly US-EU in J when the currencies are basically equal?
For example - Look at this exact route reversed (SFO-BCN) on the same dates of Oct 12-14. BA is charging $8,388/rt. That’s insane.

what is the cancellation policy?
I have a question about refunds for cancellations on this fare:
Spain-SFO-Spain
When I check matrix, it says non-refundable.
When I check ba.com, it actually says refundable before 1st flight for EUR200 each way
Is it really refundable if purchased from ba.com under those conditions?
Just for fun I tried
Spain-SFO-BUD/FCO and indeed the fuel surcharge is halved, saving about EUR 250.
But for the fare rules, suddenly ba.com says non-refundable. (the lingo in the fare rules pop-up is basically incomprehensible, but I deciphered it to mean non-refundable, could someone please check?)
Is there any way to route via BUD/FCO on the return and still get the refund conditions like for a simple Spain-SFO-Spain return?
As this is a 6 month advanced purchase, I feel a little uneasy committing so far in advance (like I am sure many of you) when so many plans could change in the meantime...thats why this detail in the fare rules needs to be clarified.

Skyteam is matching the offer.
With FlyingBlue, for XP earning, better going through CDG or AMS than JFK or ATL but YMMV..
