LO: BUD-NRT | LAX-BUD (ITA Matrix ~ 1372 EUR)

Based on the business class deal LO: BUD-NRT /rt for about 1467 EUR - see various blogs - one can also take advantage of the sligtly lower YQ when combining open-jaw.
The detailed routing BUD-WAW-NRT | LAX-WAW-BUD
Fare booking class: F (LOT Polish airlines business)
Example dates: 19 Apr - 1 May 2023, see on ita matrix.
Price: 1,371.63
There is a problem with OTA, I managed to see 1,385 on skyscanner.ie (you have to specify 4 legs) and rather exotic OTA: e-Travel Ireland. Killroy shows false result (economy instead of business).
Anyway, it might be interesting for those who want to set up RTW.

ZipAir has one-ways from NRT to LAX for $803 and some days as low as $728 if you need a lie flat across the Pacific. Of course, meals, luggage and everything else is additional...

Does booking into F grant you into a particular lounge in Warsaw? I'm seriously contemplating this, for my trip in October.

Thanks in advance.

No, as far as I'm aware it'll just be the normal business lounge.

Thanks!

I've read that there's an 'elite lounge' on another thread re: LOT business class experience, and one user said that access is granted?

What does *G/J mean? Newbie here.

Also, do I get access on the return flight too?

Thanks

Yes, on the LAX-WAW-BUD upon identification of your LAX-WAW boarding pass, you would get access to the Elite Lounge at WAW in addition to the Polonez Lounge which is open for you.

The Elite lounge is much better then the Polonez lounge when it comes to F&B. Very good choice of hot and cold food and really good cakes.
This was the Champagne on offer last time I was there.

Note: The Elite Lounge is within the Polonez lounge (Schengen).
The check-in staff at the entrance will not direct you towards it, make your own way.

Actually *G can access the ELITA lounge that is inside the Polonez business lounge at WAW airport. Small, quiet with really nice food and drink selection.
