CX: AMS-BKK €1,839 in December 2022

This is not as low as it has been historically but given how crazy prices have been lately and in particular, to BKK over Christmas.....this is a good deal in my book.

Ditto! If I could buy this for Dec 2023 (I am planning a holiday in Thailand then), I would immediately jump on it.

You have a while to book 2023, I would think something will rise eventually but might need to wait a bit.

Nice deal OP, seeing dates up until March/April. Also works to MNL and CEB for 100€ more.

I currently just have my itinerary on hold but do not see any place that shows the booking class. I have Business Light in one direction and Business Essential in the other. I looked but never saw anything that showed the booking class when I was booking either. I will pay today and perhaps it will show booking class at that point.

As the fare basis is IA99NLAA they should book into I.

Thanks for the info. It seemed to me that this fare was only available via the CX site so wasn't sure if that made a difference on the booking code but since the fare matches up then it must be it. I am crediting to AA and it really doesn't seem to make a difference as to which bucket it books under so I wasn't too concerned. Not like I had any choice since I was starving for a deal on my travel dates.

Doesn't this risk getting stranded in HKG with some sporadic lockdown at the airport?
