I successfully did this today on SQ964/SQ965. It isnt for the faint of heart lol. Basically need to walk down to the transfers and ask for the person who handles your airline because they wont be wearing the airline uniforms you would see at the airlines hubs. When I told the woman what I was doing she wisked away my passport and in about 20 minutes another guy came with my passport and a printed boarding pass ( I did have one on my phone but they dont seem to accept those ). Went up the escalator with the guy. He escorted me through a quick X-ray of my bags and off to gate 6 we jogged and I made it 2 minutes before the door closed.
