RJ MAD-BKK 1670 Euros

I'm looking for flights tickets in Bizz to Siam next year and I found this deal of Royal Jordanian. Good price and TP for nearly silver at the BAEC.

Fare is correct but don’t find it super cheap.

How it is RJ hard/soft product?

Some colleagues here have complained of how difficult it has been to have the miles/tier points credited.

Again RJ offers same fare for next year. I taked this year I was happy with that. 560 TP on BAEC, so a cheap way to get Silver status (OW Zafire), a not bad service.

Indeed TP's was a mess, had to show boarding passes to BAEC and get the miles only after quite a while, but in the end all sorted.

AMM transit pretty boring imho, I dislike the (huge) lounge. I remember food/beverages in the lounge to be rather disappointing.

Onboard 2-2-2 seating on the 787-8, comfortable enough. Food from/to Europe was remarkably better than what was served on AMM-BKK v.v.

Apparently RJ don't serve champagne anymore, but Bottega Prosecco? That might be a dealbreaker for someone

They were serving the same champagne, Laurent Perrier, yesterday from AMM to Heathrow.

Our Points credited to our BAEC account the following day on all 6 sectors , no issue at all . Champagne was indeed served . Superb crew and food . Delightfully old fashioned . Best mattress in the sky

Personally I would potentially pay a couple of hundred more and fly Etihad from Rome, prices as low as 1,541 on certain dates eg 19-26 March. If I needed tier points Qatar has flights from Rome as low as 1,906 although i am sure someone may have a better ex-EU departure point for them.

As for the Vino Collapso question here's what it says on the Majestic Wine site.

BOTTEGA PROSECCO
Once you've seen a bottle of Bottega fizz, it's not easily forgotten. But there's more than a touch of glamour behind these wines.
This legendary estate dates all the way back to the 17th Century, when Andrea Bottega began cultivating vines high in the Treviso hills.
Fast forward to today and the sustainably run family estate is now world-renowned for its award-winning wines and grappa.
25.99 per bottle.

I'm taking MAD - BKK end of september. Was not able to find exactly that low price but still tolerable to get to BKK (or near SIN in my case) on dates I wanted (and to get TPs).
First time for me on RJ so curious about how it will be
