Interesting convo. I assume there are more factors at play such as the US being a captive market. If you arent happy with the price from GVA you can drive to LYS. If you are based in San Francisco... good luck!

Tecnically us Europeans are subsidising the US because all you have to do over there is fart in a jar and you have enough credit card points to fly to the Maldives and pay for the resort on points.
