BA First: Germany (Europe) - NYC (+ other US cities) +2,300EUR RT
Decent availability in BA First from Germany (and also other European cities) to NYC, US east coast, and for a few hundreds more up to LAS, PHX, DFW... Example below. Mainly Dec-Mar.
Also a smaller TP run possible up to LAS for 2700EUR: should return 780TP and +31k Avios ... play around with it. Fare rules allow for a stopover in LON/MAD/HEL for 150 USD. But didn't manage to route via HEL fx in my few attempts.
Bookable on BA's webpage.

Chepeast combination seems to be with Premium Eco in fact. Works either on the outbound or inbound leg. One way jumps straight into F, so a combination as below is a much better deal. Even though the price difference isn't too much either if you considering what they charge you for both ways in First. Not sure if bookable via BA though.

Similar price from Dublin. I saw £2100 DUB - DFW with good availability in Q1 next year

Mixed Cabins
I have been searching flyer talk on how to do this... F from Europe... Y or Prem Y back. On ITA I can't recreate the fare using bc commands. On ba.com, I can only get first to book in both directions. Any guidance would be helpful. I rather book through an airline than third party.

Thanks so much for the help. I got a very nice itinerary. A few tips:
1) as above, putting in premium economy on ba.com does the trick in showing PE, Biz and First
2) the multi-city tool works well too
3) multi-city actually lowered the first class fare even lowed ($1299 to $1169 for exact same flight). the challenge was finding a return... PE went up considerably.
4) with some hunting, I was able to pair the lower first with a nice PE option (day flight out of Boston, onwards to Dublin)
5) Total price for me $1636 (which was the best I could do if I didn't want a short overnight)
6) ex-New York day flights seem very challenging to book. Boston much easier.
7) Calling BA is hopeless... they have suspended new sales... and even pushing other buttons... endless wait... which worked in my favor because I figured out how to do this online as your comments came in
