This is a great fare to CAI!
I really like the ability to books MS flights from VIE, FRA, MUC, etc to CAI. You don't have to put up with > 3 hours in the typical 30" seat pitch coach seats marketed as business (admittedly with the middle seats blocked as well as a much better soft product) and can have something more like a US domestic first seat.
I found very competitive pricing on GF for LH (connecting in MUC and/or FRA) for $2182 per person. The $2155 per person shown is for booking via GoToGate, the price I show is booking via Priceline or Lufthansa. Also with relatively short connections (between 2 and 3 hours),

Update:
I tried recreating this on the LH website and it prices out at well over $3000 per person. I played with the multi-city search on lh.com and got this to price out at $2168 per person. You could probably do something similar on LH with all the flights going throough MUC as well.

The MS on Europe to Egypt isn't a bad option, it's a dry airline (classic warning) but a real recliner Business class seat versus a blocked middle seat ...

I've flown airlines from Muslim countries during Ramadan and it is no big deal to me for not drink alcohol for several hours. But there seems to be a spate of YouTube videos on BYOB on MS. No personal experience doing it.

IMO any international same day turn needs to allow for the full entrance and exit requirements as regards to immigrations, customs, baggage (if any), Covid testing requirements (if any), etc.

Lower the pitchforks please! There was a wink 😉 in the 1 hour example..
8 hours or 32 hours over the weekend using MS CAI-FRA which at times is operated by a Boeing 787...
Google Flights
Yes, there is another one hour connection on FRA-MUC 🧐😉

Having transited CAI several times, 1hr is most certainly not enough. I would allow for 3hrs - especially if you need to change terminal.
Its unlikely that you will receive your boarding pass in advance as check-in will want to do a document check. On arrival in CAI you would need to go to the MS Transit Desk and someone from there would take your passport n ticket to LH Check-in Desk to get your boarding pass. In the case of TK when I was in transit from KBP to LAX, they wanted to see me in person at check-in. MS Transit staff were kind enough to take me through without having to buy a visa.
For me transiting in CAI is not a big deal - be courteous, smile and allow time
