Asiana: TPE to LAX/JFK from $2993
Seems like an acceptable fare ex-TPE to Los Angeles and New York via Seoul. These fares book into U Class which credits at 100% to most Star Alliance programs. Taiwan is still basically closed to Tourism (some Business travelers and Residents can go, but have a 10 day quarantine), South Korea has reopened it's borders to vaccinated travelers. Posting dates towards October/November with the hope of some additional normalcy.

quarantine to be reduced to 3 days in Taiwan and USA stopping a pre flight COVID test so
this routing becomes more attractive.
