PR KUL-MEL Lie flat biz From AUD $793 ow

** Airline code is PR. Oops.

Flights to from Australia are expensive right now but I just booked this flight direct with Philippine Airlines for AUD $857, it's cheaper with an OTA. Return available at around AUD $1400. Various dates available.

There may well be other destinations too, I didn't look too hard

You are quite right. Not sure how to amend the title.

ex MEL is over 2000 AUD one-way, so usual higher price out of Australia. 🦘

They had a similar offer pre-covid. When I did this trip on the same fare just before the world went into lockdown in March 2020, on the MNL transit everyone connecting to Australia has to go to a seperate part of the airport (basically a very small room), identify their luggage that has been checked through to MEL so they can open your bag and do a manual security check. If you have security wrapped your bag then dont expect it to be resealed with anything other than tape. The whole process was a crowded mess and would put me off doing it again. Same applies to flights to the US.

Its an Australian security thing apparantly due to failings identified in security procedures at MNL. Not sure if this has changed since though.

Do they offer VantageXL to MEL or it's their old 6 abreast?

Have just used the alert icon to flag to a mod to get the thread title changed, someone should be along to tidy up shortly.

Seatguru seems to indicate PR 333 has two layouts, including one 6 abreast but still fully flat?

Oh, I was looking at the sample flights which were listed as Airbus 321s.

ANA at 125% RDMs is the best home to credit these flights...
