Trying the following
CDG-YVR Aug 31
YVR-AKL Nov 20
AKL-SIN Dec 2
SIN-CDG Dec 21
Google flights show about $3k us but after I pick the first flight, it jumps up to $3400 us. After picking that flight, it now shows “separate ticket” options at $11k. I have some flexibility for some of the dates and I did try moving a them, but same general result. Any suggestions?

I did do that. I do see the CDG-YVR has P. I see LH/LH via FRA and both segments has P and also LH/AC via overnight in FRA also having P departing 8/29. Both showing $3800 still. I'm assuming the NZ flights should be looking for Z or J. I also made sure the returning segment from SIN-CDG has P as well.
I can't see any P or Z availability on Experflyer on LH or LX SIN-CDG on 12/21 so in this case the $3800 fare is probably a P/D combination

Hi Everyone -
This is my first rtw-type construction and I would really appreciate any tips! I've constructed this:
ORY-MUC-KIX,
ITM-HND,NRT-AKL,
AKL-HNL,
SEA-CDG
US$3,474.47
My questions:
1. Have I put all of the available stopovers in there that I can? (As I looked at the fare rules, it seemed like I could do one stopover on the way and two back, but I'm not entirely sure I understood them correctly.)
2. I saw that I could change at least one date based on extending it out past the current allowed booking date (I want to book the AKL to HNL for June and SEA to CDG for Sep), but can I change two of the leg dates? If so, how much is the fee? (Sorry - really trying to get through the rules - new to me!)
Thanks!

Hi All -
Is there any way to tell from Google flights what will and won't book directly with United. When I try my variations, I get errors. When I try the successful United links you posted, it works. What am I missing?
Thanks!

THANK YOU, FLYERTALKERS!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have never booked a business class flight or a RTW ticket before, let alone both, but with your help, I just did!!!!!!! And the part that has me absolutely giddy is that I paid for all but $65 with a credit voucher I earned from United back in Jan 2020 when I agreed to be voluntarily bumped on a IAH-SYD trip.
THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, I may have shot myself in the foot here. I found a better routing and decided to cancel and rebook as it was within the first 24 hours. What I didn't know was that United can take up to 20 days to refund the travel credit.
I hope the fare is still there then, but I'm not that hopeful.

Are you saying that you have cancelled your purchased RTW trip, and will not reserve and pay for a "better" routing --- because you will not be able to use a UA $65 credit voucher?
Is that what you are really writing about? Or is that what you are writing about --- really?

I'm not understanding the implication of the 20 day delay in refunding the travel credit.

Jbalmuth - what moyafmx wrote - it was the $3000 travel voucher that was in limbo. By some miracle of the travel gods though, I was issued a new travel voucher this morning and after spending two hours on the phone with United (well worth it!) as the travel voucher wouldn't work - I was able to book the new routing!
Moyafmx - I feel like I got really lucky this time - this could definitely have gone the route of banging my head on the table in regret.

May I ask - is there anyone who were able to book via Amex Travel? I am trying to see if I can book via either an airline (like UA, LX, LH, AC - i.e. without calling) or Amex Travel, just to de-risk; but I couldn't find it online price it out correctly.

I did book this via Amex travel, but the price is $4300+. I used the Amex points to redeem.

I've found some itineraries bookable on united.com, if the first leg is CDG-NYC.

Tips re Advance dates & Travelup
Hi there newbie at this - using momondo it sends me to lets say travelup - some of the trips have a departure date in early May 2023 - I thought many airlines don't open booking that far ahead ? Any watchouts for using companies like travelup and booking that far ahead ? Thanks all for tips
