Normally it would be tight but doable assuming you went hand luggage only. But with covid restrictions and the extra time needed to check paperwork I probably wouldn't do a turn like that

What marketing carrier is it ticketed through? I had trouble finding a marketing carrier other than UA, which I believe will limit PQP earnings substantially.

Marketing carrier has nothing to do with ticketing carrier. Marketing carrier simply means the carrier the flight number you booked. Ie UA123 or LH321 operated by UA123. UA is Marketing carrier for 1st, LH for the latter, regardless of what carrier ticket stock used.

UA goes by operating carrier for earnings. Thus for earnings with above examples, both would earn as an UA flight.

Thanks OP, booked with AF in Jan '23. AMEX IAP knocked it down to ~$1600. Had to hunt around for availability, good connections and pay a bit more for AF marketed.

Great delta earnings to start off a new year, ~53k sky pesos (DM), 25k MQM, $6600 MQD.

Beginner question - how do I go about adding a stopover on the *A segments, if it's allowed?

Actually, that's not correct. UA goes by ticketing carrier for PQP earning:

Probably best to use a TA in this case when you've selected your desired flights. The fare rules definitely allow it.

I have this as a successful booking through a TA:
IAH-YYZ-LHR (AC)- DXB (EK)- 3 day stop- ZRH (LX) - 2.5 month stop -VIE-YUL (OS)-IAH (AC)
