OneWorld Italy/Spain - SEA RT Business $1556+

Just booked BLQ-LHR-SEA-LHR-MAD for $1556, which was cheapest I could find. BA marketed flights would earn 18142 EQM and 40336 RDM on AS. Other various Spain & Italy combos for $1600-$1700.

The ex-Spain fare was always there.
Ex-Italy is new and has a 10-day minimum stay requirement at the final destination.

If someone would like to stay less in the USA; ex-Spain only has a Saturday night stay requirement.

If im based in Amsterdam, are there good routes towards LAX that I can reposition within EU? Or would it be easier if I do ITA/MAD to SEA then just find a new flight to LaX?

There is also an AMS-SJC fare around.
A SJC-LAX flight would not cost more than $49 if flying AS Y and purchasing far in advance.

In terms of points, how much does this price out? I'm basically trying to do 2 business class trips to upgrade my pleb status at OW.

Most ex-EU's could be maximized as 880 TP's. One exception would be ex-AGP where you cousd maximize Tier Points at 1080 TP's.

Do you have a sample link or thread here I can use as a template/guide? Many thanks for the help

I only recently found the SOF-LAX route but still need to tweak it to fit since SOf isn't a very easy flight to reposition

asian_crossfitter : If you are based in AMS as your profile shows, FB flies directly (6-7 times per week), however I cannot say how well the timing of that flight would fit your BA departure. Otherwise, FR and W6 connect EIN, also 6-7 times per week, sometimes both the same day. If you need to stay overnight, there are multiple hotel options that are very affordable.

Thank you. This is to SOF, i suppose? I think EIN might be worth the train ride then. I know there is OW BUD-LAX as well bit never tried as they're not a train away from AMS.

Correct, given the context of your comment, I would have assumed that this is clear (and FB is Bulgaria Air).
