KL: HEL-SFO seem to be the lowest at €930 R/T (12,842 mi long)! Sample Itinerary
I'm only seeing this in August, so let's call it the Wildfire Season Special.

It was somewhat misleading by the other poster upthread. The discounted pricing on OW TATL JV carriers only apply to Spain. HEL and the Baltic destinations are the ST sale.

Great deal - Quick question though: Does anybody know whether there are potential problems when it comes to cancelling a flight (in exchange for eCredits) for flights with DL flight numbers vs. KL/AF flight numbers (both booked on delta.com on the same fare code - ZS10CMND)?

No. When you cancel a ticket all that happens is that ticket now shows up as an ecredit. There's no actual "thing" specifically that is an ecredit, it's just a name used for vouchers/unused etickets.

When you goto rebook DL.com/app only offers DL/AM flight numbers. You can bookcodeshares, but to book using AF/KL flight numbers you must call in.

That is unfortunate, since CDG and AMS are only served by BT from Tallinn.
Would it be better to book it on KLM codeshare?

P.S. Apparently AF will return to CDG-HEL after a decade or so of absence.
ST had cheaper fares on HEL back in 2016, as low as 900 EUR.

Okay, I probably just didn't look at those back then.

No. Air Baltic isn't part of ST, thus no earnings.

Perfect timing on this, I have the return portion of that March 2020 BUD-US-BUD $7xx business tickets next week and needed to find a flight back home to SF. Considered a MAD-SFO one way for $990 but booked the RT for $1300 with the outbound in Aug and return in November. Assuming I can fly the RT, this will get me within 1K MQMs and $100 MQD from Diamond which would be easy to attain. Selfishly I hope Delta doesn’t extend status for another year since I’d very likely earn it this year.

Booked direct with AF: MAD-CDG-LHR-LAX-CDG-MAD Stopover in LHR. VS on LHR-LAX and AF on LAX-CDG $1300.

Thanks OP

BT serves both, CDG and AMS from its main hub RIX, usually 2 times daily as well

Under KL code the miles are accrued for FlyingBlue program even if operated by BT

My apologies! But can it not be the same if ticketed under KL code also for DL? I assume similar ST rules would apply?
