Qatar is having a nice sale from New York to Dubai via their Hub in Doha. Service is on their lovely QSuites Boeing 777s and 787s. These book into R or Classic so no seat assignment nor lounge access.

American Airlines flyers would obtain 20817 EQMs 2776 EQDs while Executive Platinum would obtain 30532 RDMs, Platinum Pro 24980 RDMs, Platinum 22205 RDMs, Gold 19429 RDMs, Base Members 13878 RDMs

Great fare. I’ve been surprised that prices like this (or lower) don’t happen more frequently to DXB given the amount of competition.

Also good price for IAD, SFO to ATH via Doha but 14+ hours layover without ability to get out of airport kinda put damper on this great J deal.

This is a little cheaper with AMEX IAP, FWIW.

Here is a sample in 2022 with under 2 hour layovers , R class if not mistaken
