AM: SFO to MAD $1430

Aeromexico SFO to MAD Business $1430 USD Return, CAD $1779
https://flights.app.goo.gl/7qJuEn
Seems to be wide open in late summer, fall
Oneworld is only a couple hundred more, and might be the same price if using Iberia's 25% Avios promotion

I’d rather toss the dice in Vegas than fly AM.

You can buy an Iberia gift card at a 25% discount, today is the last day.

It's only usable with Iberia flights and valid for 12 months.

Wide available mid-summer for ~1722$, great find! The MAD-MEX leg will be one of the very few EU-NA overnight flights, an interesting proposition for many

I just booked ORD-MAD for early Oct for $1300. If my math is right, on the I class ticket, should yield around 5.3k MQD on Delta with the 40% MQD to distance rate. Is my math right on that?

At $1300 - ORD-MAD would earn 21981 MQMs 5862 MQDs 4.50 MQD Ratio while Delta Diamond members would obtain 64478 RDMs, Platinum 52754 RDMs, Gold 46893 RDMs, Silver 41031 RDMs, Base 29308 RDMs

I used my credit from last years EZE flight to book SFO-MAD in mid August. I saw that BCN was also available for the same price, but flight timings were poor.

This.

No hesitation in flying during Covid (I mean, I have been flying more during Covid than pre-Covid), but I would have a lot of hesitation flying into and out of MEX...chills even thinking about it.

No amount of MQD bonuses is worth it for me to traverse down to MEX and then go east to Europe. South America, maybe...

BCN gets 787-8 which is 2-2-2 in J. Mad gets 787-9 with 1-2-1 and the seat design is one of the best in the industry.

Has anyone had any luck with rebooking on the AM website and/or getting someone on the phone over there? It seems to be impossible...
