OMAAT reporting that EK will imminently be announcing direct DXB-TLV flights on a 3-class 777..... this could get interesting 😎

Can anyone tell me if this deal works Outbound DXB-BKK-HKG Return HKG-BKK-DXB? I am booking award flights to DXB from IAD in Oct and would love to extend this trip to Asia if possibly and pay cash if this deal is still bookable out of DXB.

Thanks.

Fares rarely price out the same both ways. In this situation you are flying out of EK home base in a region with generally higher fare prices to begin with. So the short answer is no.

I’m still seeing it on EK website, at least for Nov 2021.

Although MCT-DXB leg on the return is only available on Y, the couple of dates I checked.

All the rest showing as First.

I don’t see them with the old prices, it’s now about 35% more expensive

Chauffeur services may still be curtailed in certain cities due to COVID. You might be better asking this question in the EK forum.

And BTW, chauffeur services were never available in MCT.

Hi guys, Me and my cousins bought 6 first class tickets last december Bkk to Hkg to DXB to Muscat to DXB to hkg to BKK ( long hauls in airbus 380/ october 2021 trip ) and at that time business class was available $1,250 and first class $2,350. Now I got an email the all of our segments were downgraded to business class except one segment muscat to dxb. we will not accept the changes because why should we pay 2,350 if all of the segments will be downgraded to business class? Can we still cancel the flight? or alternative routes we take that we can fly in first class ( that we don't need to pay the fare difference ) or ask emirates the difference of the first and business class price? hope you guys can help . thanks

Looks like a Emirates put only a 2 class plane on that route in august-oct. You should be able to ask for a reroute or data change. The fare rules specifically exclude fare difference refunds for reaccommodations in lower clases, but using Emirates covid flexibility policy to change shouldn't be a problem.

I just double checked my itinerary, all good to go with three legs on A380 and two on the 777 w/First Class. 100% First cabins and seat selections remain as I made them months ago. So, no bad surprises.
