Sub $500 roundtrip in business class on Delta nonstops JFK-GRU starting in February it looks like. LGA/EWR with connection in ATL (A330 to GRU) for a bit more.

You have officially posted the first fire sale of this new era in my opinion... Weekend getaways are possible...Here are two samples over Memorial Day and Presidents Day Weekend... It's an insane price and well worth booking even speculatively. This wont last now, book now... Think later...

DL: JFK-GRU Business $479

Randomly looked at flights from JFK to GRU and was shocked to see round trip JFK-GRU flights in the new flagship for $479. Looks like there's availability through May. I booked through Delta and the flight went through.

Wow thanks! Booked JFK-GRU-ATL-EWR for April, ticket number issued. $488 in Z. Now let's see if this sticks.

Nor can I, but since I can just get the flight refunded as an eCredit and I’m sure to travel eventually, thankfully no skin off my back if it’s prudent to cancel.

Brazil is open for US Citizens, it's all about your risk tolerance... You can do a quick Memorial day trip, hopefully things are better by then...
