AA: LHR-US 1000GBP rt
Just stumbled upon this.
Many US cities both East and Westcoast price for ~1000GBP non stop from London. Not sure if its possible to book this via BA and onto BA metal to use the BA discount code too.
Example LHR-LAX for 996 GBP next April:

Yes it is. I just booked this LHR-LAS return on BA for 1000 GBP after discount code:

AA has a Black Friday deal for 20% off a future flight if you spend $1k+ (link)
Looks like AA + 20% voucher is still better value than BA + "BASpecial" coupon in terms of price. Booking via BA gets you more EQD's though (6902 * 0.25 = 1725 EQD for the LHR-JFK round trip).

Sadly, I cant seem to find it via BA holidays, would have been nice given the speculative nature of this booking ( I dont have an US passport).
Seems like other alliances have matched this. I see LON-LAX on AF for sub 900GBP on AF now...

Lots of discussion at home about a booking for June 2021. Let me see if I get this correct.
If booked with VS you can always change the booking for free. You also get the first 350 pounds of fare difference, but since this is a really low offer. Changes later will certainly be heavier then 350 pp. No mention of options for a voucher.
If booked with DL you can always change the booking for free. You do pay fare difference. However all tickets bought before 31st of December can be cancelled free of charge, in return for a voucher.
I just need to make certain that if the US ban for Europe is not lifted by then, I can push back some of the trip or at least get my money back with a voucher. We will fly for sure at some point
So with this info I would be more inclined to book through DL right?
Found a nice deal from LHR to LAX on the new VS A350 and return with KL on 787 and since we're based in Amsterdam, that much home quicker. All for €1100 pp.

This can be manipulated to maximise TP on BA too.
Just booked SOF-LHR-DFW-AUS-LAX-SEA-LHR-SOF next year for 988 - mainly as I wanted the A350 and 787-10 Club Suite on the main routes. That's 560TP.
For a little extra, circa 1150, you can do SOF-LHR-JFK-LAX-JFK-LHR-SOF, netting the 2x140TP from the London-NYC and NYC-LAX components (just on AA A321S, which I'm less keen on), making 720TP.

Booked a second one from Paris to New Orleans (MSY) too, for 1150. CDG-LHR-DFW-MSY / MSY-MIA-LHR-CDG.
Less high on the TP earnings, at 440TP, but after a cancelled trip to MSY we've been keen to make it happen - so this seemed like the opportunity.
Still, paired with my SOF-LAX run that'll push me to a level 1000TP, so that's Gold done with nesting flights added, and almost half way to retaining GGL too.
