Cracking deals, looks like it's the new R fare on QR (no lounge access), and it's even cheaper on TK, but maybe it's the short-haul plane from AMS-IST, example below for March 2021, but I've found the QR fare up to Sept-21

Yes, this seems to be the rumour ongoing - but if you've never been to those inferior OW status based lounges at DOH, be prepared. The last time I visited one (because I had guests flying in Y and was guesting) it was small, very crowded and not the most relaxing place to be. It was close to standing room only during the peak hours. If I remember correctly, no difference between being a OW Saph or Emerald .

I've never been there (fortunate to have been in al Safwah and Mourjan), so can't comment. That said, if the earnings are still good crediting to OW partners, giving up lounge access for a big saving isn't too bad.
