Aa lga - sin, y+ 932$+

Decent Y+ fares on AA flights from New York, LaGuardia via DFW and either HKG/NRT via CX/JL. I can't find it through MatrixITA but purchasable directly from AA through google flights.

Decent availability through end of schedule. Y+ only offered on AA DFW-HKG/NRT, but Y on CX/JL is as good if not better than AA Y+. Assuming higher bucket Y on LGA - DFW, ~19000 EQM/RDM depending on HKG/NRT on AS before status, about 5 cpm. Depending on when AS joins OW, throw in a couple thousand more on the Asian sectors.

Codeshare Crediting

Flew an AA ticket LGA-DFW-NRT-SIN and when crediting to AS, the JAL codeshares did not credit to AS. Something about AA codeshares on JL metal. Don't know about CX and crediting.

Yes, AS doesn’t allow codeshares of non operating partners, even if they are both partners which is what I alluded to, thanks for making that more clear.

There are some rumblings that AS wants to push up OW membership to end of 2020. Have to imagine codeshares will credit by then.

If you are talking about crediting to CX MPO/AM, AA*/JL flights will credit per the AA table.

Once AS is in oneworld, flights will certainly credit according to the standard oneworld practice (i. e., when both operating and marketing carriers are in OW, credit per marketing carrier). Where did you hear the rumblings that AS may be joining earlier? Would definitely look forward to it.

oneworld welcomes Alaska Airlines’ intention to join the alliance

13 FEBRUARY 2020oneworld® is delighted with the announcement that Alaska Airlines intends to join the alliance by summer 2021, and its plans to form a US West Coast international alliance with oneworld founding member American Airlines.

Once approved, oneworld membership will allow Alaska Mileage Plan loyalty members to earn and redeem miles through oneworld member airlines’ extensive global network.

As the world’s most highly-rated alliance, oneworld is on track to welcome Royal Air Maroc from 1 April 2020, adding its first full member in the African continent.

In the last 12 months, oneworld unveiled new digital technology to enable a truly seamless travel experience across member carriers and announced plans for the first oneworld branded lounge at Moscow Domodedovo Airport. The alliance also introduced a fresh brand positioning, Travel Bright, to launch the alliance’s third decade and better reflect the diversity of today’s travellers and our member airlines.

In 2019, oneworld was the repeat winner of several airline alliance awards, reinforcing its status as the preferred alliance of customers and the travel community.

This is old news mate. It says summer 2021. What sounds exciting is that AS may join earlier (end of 2020) per the above post of TravelingZoomer .
