hm is an interesting fare, it is combining two fares, works for AUH, BOM and other European cities too. Cheaper I could find is out of SOf and into MXP for 1200 USD

AMS-___-PRG is 1350-1400 and a bit easier to position. On the outbound leg from AMS, you can go to some interesting airports like Vail or Aspen for same money, which usually carry some premium in price.

I ended up booking this and will get off in London..
new BA suites (hopefully) on both long haul legs

I already have more flights to the US booked than I’ll be a me to fly. But can this fare somehow be used to only fly to DXB from Europe?

Return can also be into South Africa for about 1880 eur all in. Stopover in London allowed so could be scheduled as another trip out of Europe, though taxes go up then
