QR: JFK - TBS (Tbilisi, Georgia) J $20xx

Sample flight

A few hundred dollars cheaper than the DEL fare. Allows for a bit more routings than the Kiev fare, i.e. Tokyo, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur

I thought the 5k mile allowance is only if your flight gets cancelled?

No it turns out that it on voluntary changes as well. It's a strange policy. If there is a involuntary changes then you can get a cash refund.

Looks like QR zeroed out all low fares. Best I can find is 2700 https://www.google.com/flights?hl=en...;sc:b;sd:1;t:f

Deal looks alive again. Really tempted to buy, but worried won't be able to fly by the end of the year.

At this point there's no guarantee there will be ANY flying later this year. You're already going to give them your money to hold for months in advance if you purchase flights. Reschedule, or take a voucher for later use. If they cancel the flights entirely, get a refund.

Personally, if I wasn't being tight-fisted against a possible job loss I'd go for it.

YUL-BKK still available at USD 2.4K

SYD is under 5K from BKK but not really confident about travel to Australia even in December.

It should. If anything, they'll have their usual dynamic pricing algorithm jack fares up temporarily (fake demand) but I just don't see those seats selling out in the current environment.

Also, not really sure how paid business class passengers would feel about flight attendants in hazmat suits which QR just announced.

So does mean that If I buy the JFK-TBS fare, after 14 days I could switch to LAX-BKK as long as there was open seating? THis seems like too good to be true!
