Huh? Iím not originating in Seattle. Im just wondering if anyone got HKT, KUL, SIN, or anywhere else. Everyone seems to be shuttled to BKK no matter where you start if you want to get to SE Asia.

I think NextWhiteDeath was referring to Southeast Asia.

Still confused. He meant BKK not SEA?

In any event, has anyone else gotten successful other than to BKK for SE Asia?

I was referring to SE Asia in my last post. You might be able to swing HKT. Everything else in SE asia is too far away from KBP to qualify. For example KBP-KUL is 5232 miles.
It is basically HKT or BKK if you want to fly to SE asia

I just meant I called the U.S. customer service line, not the Qatar call center.

Phnom Penh and Hanoi should also qualify, going by gcmap.com.

Tell that to reservations who wonít let me choose PNH, and I know people who have gotten destinations just further than 5000 miles in SE Asia.

I really wish theyíd as least be consistent on how theyíre calculating this.

I did know how to take them as they include fifth freedom flight and they are much more iffy about them. It all depends on the rep.

The policy is real. So if your ticket is over 14 days old you can make changes without any problems as long as there is availability in the same fare bucket. If you don't ask to be changed back they shouldn't. They could just say no to anything further out.

I’ve tried HAN and DAD both under 5k miles and neither will work. They tell me in their system the mileage shows up as ???? So they don’t go any further. Once they said they were working on getting to to work for me as they realized it was under 5k miles and they would have a supervisor call me back which of course never happened. Another time they sent me to a supervisor to get it to work and of course the phone call dropped conveniently. I’ve tried the Facebook messenger team and they said they would have an agent call me back which has never happened. My flight is in Nov so I figure I will just keep trying until hopefully it works.

Has anyone tried to book today? It appears QR is not selling flights through their website or Google Flights.
