Just play with the dates. I just booked one for the end of July without issues.

Someone should give you a medal for finding that cheaper fare. Id rather spend $400 more to fly this direct than those three flights, half of them in a recliner and save half a day. Just wow.

Agreed. Your OP is a very good find for a direct flight with a solid hard product and soft product. BTW, you can get a similar fare on LH (one stop via FRA). Both book into P.

Well, the price WAS good - the routing and seats...not so much!
I flew JNB-ZRH with LX direct a few months ago, and it is VERY convenient, as opposed to hopping around Africa and Europe first!

Thanks for sharing though; the more choices, the better!
