Awesome price for later this year, especially around Rosh Hashana.
Is it possible to combine with the TLV-ZRH segments operated by ELAL and coded as LX?

Double Why:
- why isn't it allowed to use LX operated by LY flights between ZRH and TLV?
- why would you fly LY 737 instead of LX 330 in business class?

In the fare rules it is said that flights must be operated by the group itself..

1. Well, for a daytime flight LY 737 isn't bad at all compared to LX as fully flat seat isn't necessary.
2. Ability to use the awesome LY King David lounge and not Dan.
3. LX are notorious for last minute swaps to narrow body jets with EU J, I rather have a guaranteed LY 737 and not a "maybe" long haul plane.

Correct, in most of the times LY is the best option for TLV-Europe

Depends on where you go in far east. If you fly to HKG or SIN in the evening from ZRH, then LX has the best schedule (but an A321 for the summer season). If you fly at 13:00 or so to Japan or China, then LY has better schedule. I have also noticed they operate wide bodies to ZRH from time to time.
And LY-operated LX-coded flights seem to be bookable on this fare.
