AV has made a mess of its routing rules and now allows you to fly JFK-UIO as JFK-BOG-LIM-UIO, with unlimited stopover so you can make LIM the true destination instead. GF into any OTA because AV website will not offer you this lucrative routing.

You can also fly it as JFK-BOG-LIM-UIO and back with UIO as the "correct destination" for a few dollars more in taxes and earn more miles-- for this suggest ITAMatrix into BookWithMatrix.

This one has been around for a while, it's a nice route to visit a couple South American destinations. I flew it in 2018, one thing was you had to look for the right flight (on their A330s) from JFK to BOG back then. Not sure if it is still the case these days. People have complained their service was bad, it might not have been the best but I enjoyed it. Ah okay somehow did not see it the last time I searched so in my mind it went away but probably in reality it didn't. Have requested mods to delete thread.

AV also changed the rute: transit at SAL.
No longer available sameday flight and price increase.

My flight will arrival JFK at 06:00am now I need to wait for 9hr for 3:00pm AV flight to LIM :(

Not saying the thread should be deleted. It's good to see it's still around. :)
