I personally have never had issues crediting AM flights but as has been stated:
- make sure your skymiles number is in the reservation
- get printed boarding passes and make sure skymiles number is on those
- keep email with fare class on itinerary
- be prepared to call delta if you even need to if you don’t see anything in 7-10 days
