Friendly reminder that if you book this through a consolidator and earn on the special fares table for AA, you can get up to $2500 EQD for this trip. Have found it through this set up for a bit more, but still a good deal- $900s

Mind sharing a little bit of detail for the novice flyers that pay the full fare for lack of knowledge.

AAVacations is one of the common ways to get a special fare where EQDs are mileage based, but AAVacations seems to only be available originating inside the US (and Canada?).

I haven't tried any other online travel agents to see if they can get around this restriction.

EDIT: changed "outside" to "inside"

Would appreciate some education as well kind one...

PE booked as a Special Fare earns 20% of the miles flown as EQDs. The 2 easiest ways to book special fares are: AAVacations or Travel Consolidator. AAVacations allows you to book only flights starting in the US so this won't work leaving you with the only option of booking through a Travel Agent/Consolidator. I know there are a few here that can book this for you. Hope this helps.

I've used AA vacations to maximize EQM but I'd appreciate a PM as well on the consolidator option.

Cheers!

Just for my curiosity it is AA O fare so that I would have a 25% accumulation if crediting to Japan Airline's JMB?

Is flight + hotel package from Orbitz considered AA Special fare? Thanks.
