also find JFK-BKK via Tokyo, on ANA, for $1080 in PE, which earns at a better rate. google flight>>

If you buy the ANA flight thru United, you will get an 016- ticket and only earn based on dollars. If you try to buy the very same flights on the ANA site, the price is double. Annoying.

Could tack on a short intra-SEA leg for same price or abit more. I checked EWR-SIN-DPS in April for $1049; some places like BKK/HAN/MNL etc in the $1100s. Don’t forget Alaska is a partner of SQ too and you get a ton of miles with them if you had elite status.
