The fare was available many days in January and March when I checked. On some days it's $2,124. From the Google link it looks like it might have to be booked through Expedia or another OTA.
The same fare is offered on China Southern (CZ), but of course that wouldn't work for MileagePlus PQPs. I'm not familiar with SkyTeam, but might it be good for a mileage run on CZ? According to Expedia, the trip is 17,720 miles round-trip.
Per ITA Matrix, the fare basis is RNCUE6. According the ExpertFlyer that fare expires 12-Dec-2019, but if the fare rules remain the same as the one expiring on 12/12:
Minimum stay: 3 days
Maximum stay: 90 days

It gets 4902 PQP for MileagePlus and can be booked directly on CA web site in R.

I am just amazed that the fare is cheaper out of the US as opposed to Canada. The fare deals out of Canada have been better than US cities for some time,
