AA/JL JFK-TPE in J for $2300

Looks like a lot of routings are valid. I found Jan 23 - Feb 3. Can get it down to $2010 with the Amex IAP. Books into X on JAL, so you get a decent number of RDMs and EQDs on AA.

Great rate, seeing wide availability! Unfortunately not for the dates we need as it seems to be for departures through Jan 27 only. Tempted to make an unscheduled trip for fun... Thanks for sharing!

Do you need visa for Taiwan? Quick google says up to 90 days as a visitor is fine for a US passport!

No visa needed for short term stay as a tourist in Taiwan! Bring your appetite instead!

People always ask me what I bring back from Taiwan every time I go there, and my standard answer is "oh, about 10 lbs".

Best idea for a first-timer is hiring a private food and cuisine guide who can spend a day and evening taking you to different restaurants, food stall vendors and night markets....just pack your stretch pants.

I wish *A would match this fare, their old dependable deals to TPE ex-YVR seem to be gone now.

Has anyone been able to book this fare recently? I see tons of availability on Matrix, but cannot find a single place that can price the flight? Thanks.

Did a few dummy bookings and definitely able to pull it up. The question is - how are you trying to book this?

Matrix with ITA-Matrix-powertools and also directly via AA, expedia, etc.
Prices show correctly on Matrix, but can't get them to price anywhere else. This is not a usual problem I have.
Curious what dates people are getting that work?

For your dates, I couldn't find the same itin anymore. I also had some trouble pulling it up on power tools. I had more success on Google Flights - if you click through on the lower fare itinerary it finds on AA, you'll get the "cannot find fare" message. But it will present you a list of fares that are available and you can select from those in the $2200s range. Otherwise TA may be the way to go if you are set on a specific itin/dates.
