Expedia says it books into E Class...
For Delta flyers... TLV-JNB would earn 24808 RDMs 18606 MQMs 4962 MQDs 4.98 MQD Ratio

Its actually same bug where PE fares allow business class segments as here but i did not think to look up this way. The intention was probably to allow short haul segments within Europe in business (on AZ operated flights only) but the intention with poor AZ controls went far beyond that

They added "VIA AZ E/Y PERMITTED BETWEEN ITALY-AREA 2 FLTS 0001-2999"

Normally on these international routes they usually put "IF VIA AZ A- FARES E/Y REQUIRED BETWEEN MIDDLE EAST-EUROPE"

the same mistake works to MRU. Unluckily it doesn't work on MLE just because it's in area 3.

There is no such thing as a "bug" it's a promotion to build customer loyalty

Do we have any real-life cases on the skipping segments? I'm curious as to the application especially with non Italian carriers...

I posted it in the Delta LAX-JFK-KIN thread about the viability, since it should be within the rules even for non-Italian carriers but haven't seen or heard about it "live" but if anyone has done it for real I would love to chat

They will only "hold the validity of the Ticket for the return flight" .

Hi,
Could you please explain why dropping the TLV-Italy segment is allowed and if booking directly with AZ would work.
Thanks

Looks like a mapping error. This is a premium economy fare.

Sorry, my bad, I actually wanted to write 897.
It ranges somewhere from 825 on momondo.de (.com doesn't have that but US$1'000 instead) to 900.
