QR Flashsale CPH-HKG & ARN-BKK/HKT/MNL >€1,400
Qatar Airways is having a nice flashsale (according to fare rules, offers are only valid today) from Copenhagen and Stockholm. ARN-HKT is cheapest at €1,311
EDIT October 2: Qatar Airways eliminated the expiration date from the fare rules, it's now Sales On/After 01OCT2019. As of now, this offer remains online. I'm sorry for the hassle.

Fare rules are pretty much the same for all flights:
SALES until 1OCT19
TRAVEL after 1OCT19
MIN STAY 5 days
MAX STAY 1 months
2 free stopovers and the usual 560 BAEC TP on all connections. Qsuite availablilty seems to be pretty good in 2020.

Adding on, if you do plan to transfer at MNL, give yourself at least a few hours for a layover. That airport is such a mess.

Beware of turning up more than 2 hours before if using QR172 the 22.40 flight.
The lounge is after passport control. Passport control did not open until 20.40 tonight and the queue was very long with only one immigration officer on duty for several minutes.

QR is T5 - BA is T2
"Why so? Though I've only been there once, I've actually done an ex-EU with check-in luggage, and I found the 'transit' experience to be relatively frictionless."
BA at T2 to QR at T5 was not smoooth.
1. Long wait at immigration behind Aeroflot flight
2. I arrived early morning and left on the late QR flight. Had to find left luggage which works out at £10 per bag for about half a day.
3. T2 to T5 is a long way and is poorly signed. Reminiscent of Mamchester T2 to T1/T3 except they don't charge for baggage trolleys. LOL
4 Late access to a poor lounge.
The whole QR experience on this journey was very poor
5. Seriously over crowded lounge in Doha
6. 40 minute wait for shower in DOH
7. Shambolic boarding. Remote stand. J on separate bus but waited 30 minutes for all J passengers to arrive, whilst 2 Y buses departed. The bus had engine running with fumes piling in . The AC was runing at polar bear temperatures
8. Aircraft swap on QR816 to a 2-2-2 777 with no WiFi
9 40 minutes late - largely the fault of boading gate. They were astonishingly unprofessional.
My experience on BA HKG to MAN in July was light years better.

Flying out on BA from ARN is very good though, if you can fast track through security time to lounge is similar to the First Wing at Heathrow and departure gate a 50 meter walk from the lounge, so will not agree it's terrible in general.
