What airline? What booking engine did you find it on, if it wasn't that airline's site? Thanks!
Kayak did find a one stop SFO-BCN on LH for me on those same dates at $1791, but then next went up to $1908 (which is still good).
Edited to add: A minute later the LH fare just disappeared and now the $1903 on UA is cheapest.

AF and KL also have 20K MR points if booked through their sites and pay with AmEx (whichever card you register for such promotion) for flights out of US.
