@Tokyoite: Still available, but the first flight out of HKG must depart between 20 December and 31 December 2019, between 3 April and 20 April 2020, or between 1 July and 20 August 2020.

I can find the similar fare, but when going to the booking site, it becomes $2K.

The base fare is showing up at around 1800 on EF, so this is most likely either a fare that was there and was then pulled, or just a miscoding on the OTA site.

Worth noting though that fares of around 1750USD (with taxes/fees) are available *from* various EU start points to HKG/PEK/PVG for the same restricted "first international flight" dates (lowest price from DUB as far as I have found so far - as it happens I made use of the same fare two years ago for a DUB-PEK/PEK-CDG trip)

I do see the 1800 fares ++ and then taxes so about 2100 USD ex-HKG so less exciting for connecting flights as China carriers and TK and others can also be found for that same amount without much difficulty.

1500 though is a deal and on a decent carrier like SAS. alas

Exactly how are people searching for biz fares and city pairs and ranges of dates (say like July Aug summer holidays)?

Is it just google flights and then dig through expert flyer?
