[PREM FARE GONE] Air Italy/BA : $1624-$1,799 RT MXP-MIA/JFK

not sure if this was posted yet but I played with the dates and airlines, thought it was a fairly good deal for non-stop flights both directions, no positioning flights

booked on BA promotion in I Class which credits decently to QR Privilege

booked for mid January 2020

both flights are operated by AA

actually booked at $1789 on Expedia

Also if crediting to AA remember that it credits as a BA Flight so you would get: 12325 RDMs 14790 EQMs 2465 EQDs

BA Tier Point Collectors can add an easy 80 TPs each way with 2 more segments.. so 160+280: 440 TPs..

I keep seeing the obsolete "lie-flat" in the title.
This has to come from members in the US, where the level of business class took ages to catch up to the rest of the world.
Surely now "lie-flat" is assumed, and "not lie-flat" is the notification required.

There was one poster, who liked to end their titles with "Going Fast". Those threads would sometime stay active for over a year going nowhere fast.

And I finish almost all my Titles with "!" I guess we all have our ticks when posting...

A punctuation mark in the title is not a tick, so you're ok

There are a handful of carriers still offering angled seats across the pond in business...Air France, Turkish, Emirates (?) They are exceptions but its still a useful note to add IMO.

I9: MXP-JFK (non-stop) from 1467!

Air Italy is having a nice sale on their non-stop flights from Milan MXP to New York JFK. Flights start from 1467!

I have tickets in hand.

You need to try to book through different sites, I had problems booking the fare initially, + other OW airlines have codeshares

I would rather have bought the ticket directly from AA or BA but was having problems, so I used Expedia

Turns out my issue was with Chase.

Got it sorted and now have tickets in hand.

Great fare. Thanks!
