MU: LAX - Maldives $2250 rt

Books into I/J which earn almost the exact same: https://www.wheretocredit.com/china-eastern-airlines/j

What can 70k Eastern Miles be used for?

Nah, much better to credit to delta.

Numbers:
- 20251 flown miles
- 8100 MQD
- 34019 MQM
- 40502 minimum skymiles (no status)
- 64803 maximum skymiles (Diamond status)

Not a bad run at all, if you're planning vacations.

Nearly as cheap (~$2800) out of NYC, at least on one flight I saw using the same dates on Orbitz.

I know Google Flights is pretty bad about returning fare information from them; usually "price unavailable" for me. Suggestions on OTAs to use?

Priceline, Expedia tend to be good.

Fare is still out there...use Matrix or Expert Flyer to find available dates. Or use a TA that will do the work for you. Some might even have access to additional discounts...

Struggling to find a method to book this and prices near this point; the absolute BEST I’ve found is like $2700 (LAX-MLE), which all things considering is good, but since I know there’s the lower fares *somewhere* I’ve come to ask for a nudge in the right direction.

Cheers!

it’s hard to find what you want without dates or at least a date range?

Can't seem to price it on Expedia/Orbitz anymore, but ITA + Priceline through powertools still works easily to get the $2,247 price
