BA: YVR-CPT in Business / CPT-DFW in First US$3,200
This is a combination of British Airways business (I) and first (A) fares, from Vancouver to Cape Town and back to Dallas, via London each way. (An all-business itinerary is $3,017. An all-first itinerary is $4,321.)
Departure can be from YYZ/YUL as well, and arrival can be to other US cities for a bit more. Two stopovers are permitted for free. Book by June 14.

Hmm this is an interesting not the best product but good price and good for AA flyers trying rack up some EQD also sure the Tier Points are decent. Any care to work out the earnings on BA and AA?

For BA flyers ~45,000 Avios and 790 TPs (instant Silver / OW Sapphire) if you are stating from scratch (technically more as you are likely to become Bronze while in Capetown and enjoy an Avios bonus on your return). 69,000 Avios if you are already BA Gold before leaving YVR.

I missed that YVR-DFW on AA is technically international and therefore creditable to AS as well, adding 2,631 EQM and 2,631 / 3,508 / 4,385 / 4,824 RDM.

Was on a plane with bad internet and would have probably given out misinformation ( AA in-flight sucks at the moment going across the Atlantic). I know some guys have created calculators. One of the perks of an online message board is a knowledgable community I always try to add my knowledge when I can.

I was able to find something similar--the poor man's version-- in PE/WTP in November (maybe other dates as well, but I don't know of an easy way to do "flexible calendar" searches for multi-city itins). YVR-LHR-JNB / JNB-LHR-LAX (also wors with similar pricing terminating at ORD. Would be a lot of miles without being able to lie flat, but would rack up solid EQMs.
$1657 all-in, booked via BA (confirmed); $1793 via aa.com (confirmed). 32000 EQMs and 4267 EQDs (I think?) if booked through BA.

I have been watching this route; YVR-LHR-JNB/CPT return for several years. BA A typically becomes available from LAX/SFO in the fall in the $6.5K range. This sale is earlier this year and YVR sub $5K is ~$2.5K lower than SEA/SFO/LAX origins. Cheapest I've seen. For credit to AS you could renew MVPG through the end of 2021 in January 2020 with just 4 flights.
With AA international you earn only 150% EQM and no additional bonus. BA A earns 250% EQM, 450% RDM plus Elite bonus. Total RDM: MVP 500%, MVPG 550%, MVPG75K 575%.
With no status this itinerary will earn MVP on the outbound & MVPG on the inbouds. If we value AS miles at ~2cpm we would have about a $1.9K rebate on our sub 5K itinerary for no staus. For MVPG75K, the rebate would be closer to $2.46K.
