Great fare! I've done the ATL-LIM on Delta probably 30 times. It's Delta ONE for that segment but is the 767. Still it's a good flight. Lots of the same flight attendants each time. They seem to stick with that route. On way back is just a small snack. I think it was a hamburger or small salad last time. Food has been largely diminished, beginning in the past year, on the way back to Atlanta.

Also, Delta was using a lounge for many years there but it's closed now due to refurbishment. So, in its absence, you are directed to a lounge beside it which is actually larger and has better seats. But you're limited to just 2 alcoholic drinks at the bar -- if that matters.

Thanks! Just convinced myself that I needed to book a flight to Lima to go elsewhere in South America. Happy to see that for $150 - $200 more, I can now fly First! Great post at the right time!

Just booked this for my wife and I for travel in early Dec. Now we'll finally be able to visit Machu Pichu since we didn't have time to do so on our previous visit to Lima two years ago.

For those needing *A miles, you can also fly YYZ-SAL-LIM for $1000 USD with AV.

https://www.kayak.com/flights/YYZ-LI...t=bestflight_a

You can get on A330 between SAL and LIM if you choose to overnight in SAL. All segments need to be completed by Nov 30th and book by June 6th.

Another bonus, unlike the DL deal, you can add domestic segments such as LIM-CUZ/JUL as part of the tickets at no extra charge as the fare is essentially Canada-Peru, I haven't tried pricing out of other Canadian cities but this is a starting point.

Not sure if YUL (or *A) is an option for you, but there is consistently a YUL-LIM option for under $1650CAD (under $1200 USD). You can go via EWR (757) or IAH (767) both lie flat seats. Link is for 2 people.
