Very good find, OP! I'm seeing fares a bit higher available to BKK, if that's where you need to go.

I'm also seeing fares originating from ORD around the same price as IAH, and IAD/JFK/MIA for a bit more, and ATL for a bit more than that. If those are your points of origin, the fare could be attractive.

For example, IAD/JFK/MIA - BKK was pricing out at $3650, and ATL-BKK was $4150. But I scored ORD-BKK for $2780, with Qsuites on the ORD-DOH segments. $1400 savings is worth the positioning flights ATL-ORD-vv. Bought our tickets for Songkran next year. We'll fly two days apart outbound but together on the way home, so I need to call and secure our Qsuite.
