AMEX Plat IAP brings it down to ~$1437. Great find! Too bad it's not low enough personally for me to bite, but I'm sure somebody will find a use for it.

This is an outstanding deal, although I would probably choose to route LAS-AMS-BRU and return to stretch out the long-haul leg rather than have a domestic connection and short flight from the east coast. You'd get on KLM's 787 product, as well, which is probably nicer than DL's older 767 from JFK. It prices at $1,712 on ITA Matrix and clicking through with PowerTools will get you that price although it jumps if you try to use Google Flights.

If you have an American Express Platinum Card, this is eligible for IAP pricing and the price drops all the way to $1,437 (with the connection in ATL), which is an exceptional price for round trip business to Europe from LAS, in my opinion.

Thanks OP! I booked one for the holidays, $1.4K (thru Amex IAP) during peak winter holiday season in J is killer value and I was looking to find a way to Europe anyways.

It would’ve been even better if there were flights marketed under KLM for the mileage earnings (Looks like Delta marketed only) but can’t complain too much when this is a vacation flight.

jfkeze May 26, 2019 4:17 am

For XP flyers this would give 102 XPs or Silver Status in a flight with a routing LAS-SLC-AMS-BRU-LAS
6 LAS-SLC
30 SLC-AMS
15 AMS-BRU
15 BRU-AMS
36 AMS-LAS
sadly SLC-AMS falls just under 5000 miles so 30 instead of 36

Amazing fare. Looks like it works even with a different return city like SFO

good catch, based out of SFO so just rebooked with the SFO ending; this just eliminated one way of positioning.

Is there any way to get this fare the other way round BRU-LAS ?

stephem May 26, 2019 9:38 am

Totally legit deal w IAP.

I contemplated jumping on this but i already have AA F tickets over in late July and am buying the TP discounted biz one way for the return because it allows stopovers. Also, no kids discount on DL fares and i cant find an AF or KL variant of this (which usually has 75% fare for 2-11 year olds).

Not in EF yet as far as i can tell but ita pulls up the fare rules.

Anyway to plate this on KLM stock for those of us without IAP?

I saw it via Google Flights at 400 more for the JFK return on KL codes... Try PowerTools on ITA Matrix but if the code is DL you still get Delta mileage credit (much less than KLM codes)

Werty7777 May 26, 2019 6:08 pm

Even cheaper back to ATL
Edit: 1275 usd via iap
