NYC-BRU has the same base fare ($362.50 each way) but charges $1200 in YR. LAS-ATL-BRU-JFK has a $675 base fare for the outbound, but a $362.50 fare on the return and a YR of just $243.20. Some interesting possibilities here.

Anyone been able to find a routing with the Delta One suites? I played around with ITA matrix for a couple hours but couldn't find any.

I tried a considerable number of different routings and wasn't able to find anything. I'd be interested if someone was.

I'm surprised that this one is in IAP. IME most Z aren't, nor are many I fares. AmEx can't explain it, but when I look at some of the complete fare rules, I see a line that it isn't eligible for further discounts, which I had always throught referred to corporate discounts.

I actually did manage to force it without increasing the price too much. Of course, you end up with a much less direct routing. I would think LAS-AMS-BRU-AMS-DTW-LAS is probably the most manageable so you get to ride the new Delta One Suite on the longer westbound leg during the day. You can do it both way for a little bit extra.

BookWithMatrix created booking links for it. I could not replicate this through AmexTravel but you might be able to feed the information to a phone agent and see if you end up with a discount.

Including Suites MSP-CDG, at least, seems possible. Example: LAS-BRU $1,727.

Can also route through ATL for suites and stop on the east cost for $1,400 (before IAP discount).

LAS-ATL-CDG (long layover possible)-AMS (overnight layover possible)-BRU (stop)-JFK

Wonderful deal. Got a holiday flight in back home from LAS to BRU and then back to SFO. About $1400 with Amex's (now online bookable!) IAP fare.

Thanks zoqfotpik!

Booked two for after Chirstmas and back about 10 days later.
LAS-JFK-BRU/BRU-ATL-SAN for $1702

Not the nicest aircraft in Delta's fleet, but the LAS-JFK segment is the only one leaving late enough to allow for a same-day early morning positioning flight on Delta from from SAN (with a 1 hr 22 min connection time).

We plan to travel a little by train. I wonder if any cities in Belgium or nearby are good for New Year's Day? I'm only familiar with Antwerp, which I liked.

Unsure if it's a NYE-specific city, but Brugge is always nice.

Nice find. I just booked LAS-AMS (non-stop KLM flight), BRU-ATL (non-stop DL), for December 22-January 5, on delta.com for $1484.73 (Z). It has jumped to $1638 already.
What is crazy is that main cabin fares go for $4500!!
